My 2 year old loves Curious George and it’s one of the better touch and feel books. I am SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED when the ILLUSTRATIONS, just as delightful as Kilings writings are impossible to enjoy. It still is faith based and makes you realize the importance of forgiveness for yourself and God's Hand in that, but not in a "in your face" type of way. Depicts ducklings doing what they love most, including walking in a line, drinking from a birdbath, jumping off a dock, and swimming after bread scraps. There is really no plot and we all know right from the start that the novel can not have any happy ending. This book has politics, a love triangle, battles, sword fights, a wicked queen, a heroic hunting cat, and even an explosion or two. The use of paragraph breaks for stylistic purposes is also addressed. What I love most about this book is it's sentimentality.
