I thought the author did a good job of building up to the climax, the final resolution was unexpected and very cleverly done. The Percy series really hit the spot. As as impressionist are lover, I really enjoyed reading about my favorite artist's history and viewing pictures of their work. Her works include Ryo, a series based on the legend of Gojo Bridge, a story about love crossing national boundaries, and Tail of the Moon (Tsuki no Shippo), a romantic ninja comedy.
